Walter Granville-Smith was an artist born January 1870. Before his death in 1938, he studied at the Arts Student League in New York City and in Paris at the Academie Julian. His art, mainly water color and oil paintings of beautiful women doing housework or attending sporting events, is now on permanent display in many museums including the Smithsonian. 

This 14"x20" lithograph was printed in 1896 and features upper class men toasting at a fine dinner.
